Alaskan Bushwheels were first made in Alaska in the late 1990's by Alaska Tire and Rubber Company. In 2000 Bill Duncan bought and moved the company to Joseph, Oregon. We changed the name to Alaskan Bushwheel Inc. dba Alaska Tire and Rubber Company and employed a total of 4 people. We worked out of a hangar on the Enterprise Airport. Shortly after we learned the technique of building such unique tires we started in up-grading the building technology, rubber formulas, re-testing and tire construction. We soon developed our 2nd Generation Sidewall system, went to a Radial construction, re-tested again and have STC's available for well over 100 light aircraft. We soon outgrew our first home and built a new facility mid-field on the Joseph State Airport. We now employ a total of 10 and have increased our product line from just having three sizes of Bushwheels to five and are now working on many PMA parts, including the STC'd Alaskan Bushwheel Tailwheel Fork Kit, 1 3/4" Maule Tail Spring and many more parts to be announced.  ;void(0)) Bill Duncan, President
