3200 Tailwheel Assembly


This ABI-3200 Assembly is an FAA-PMA direct replacement for Scott 3200 Assembly. The installer is responsible for ensuring that the assembly is installed in accordance with the original equipment installation instructions. (8 lbs)

The difference between the ABI-3200 & 3224A is the steering arm and dust caps. The ABI-3224A comes with the heavy duty steering arm (ABI-3214T).

Our ABI-3200B tailwheel assembly is built with our wide fork, wide spacer and 11”x5”x4” Alaskan Bushwheel. It provides increased floatation for the tail-end, keeping you on top of the ground instead of digging into or hanging-up in it. We have STC’s available for well over 170 different models of aircraft.

Tailwheel Configuration

Since we came out with our Direct Replacement parts and assemblies for the Scott 3200 tailwheel assemblies we have had numerous conversations about why a tailwheel shimmy's among other questions pertaining to the correct installation of the 3200 tailwheel assembly. First of all we recommend that you check the CASTER ANGLE of your tailwheel. In the picture you can tell the incorrect and correct angle for installation.
